The Image of Merciful Jesus

The Image was painted upon the request of Jesus to St. Faustina. It is a vessel through which God pours out graces from the founts of Mercy. It is the very first Image and the only one painted under the direction of both St. Faustina and Bl. Michael Sopocko.

The Feast of Divine Mercy

The Feast of Mercy is celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter. Jesus promised St. Faustina that on that day whoever would go to confession (or be in the state of sanctifying grace) and receive Holy Communion would receive the complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. The Feast is preceded by a novena which Jesus dictates to St. Faustina.
