The Feast of Divine Mercy
The Feast of Mercy is celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter. Jesus promised St. Faustina that on that day whoever would go to confession (or be in the state of sanctifying grace) and receive Holy Communion would receive the complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. The Feast is preceded by a novena which Jesus dictates to St. Faustina.
